Courses in the International Department


The International Department regards “individuation, diversification, internationalization” as its orientation. 

The courses in the International Department

Science (Biology, Grade 7, half a day, once a month; Physics, Grade 8;   Physics and Chemistry, Grade 9);

Math (seven classes a week);

Politics, History and Geograghy in the form of lectures (half a day, once a month, through Curriculum integration; students can visit, experience and feel the classes);

Modularized English courses (one class a week respectively for Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing; eight classes a week for the intensive classes by the chinese teacher );

Oral english taught by professtional foreign language teachers (half a day a week---two classes a week);

American junior middle school courses ( the original teaching materials, the classes begin in the second semester of Grade 7);

Chinese which attaches much importance to reading and writing ( six classes a week);

Art (P.E.----three classes a week; Art----one class week; Music----one      class week; Information Technology----two classes a week; Core Competence ----one class week );


The annual aims:

Grade 7: Be able to understand English dialogues and stories; Be able to describe your own or others’ experiences; Be able to read and understand short passages and English magizines in common style; Should have a vocabulary of over 1500 words.

Grade 8: Be able to draft and modify brief narrations, descriptions, instructions, rules, etc.; Be able to get information from the English materials and describe the results; Be able to communicate with foreigners smoothly; should have a vocabulary of over 2500 words.

Grade 9: Be able to read and understand English newspapers and magazines, understand the new words and the main idea and be able to use reading strategies appropriately; Be able to draft articles or short essays independently; Should have a vocabulary of over 3200 words.
